Privacy choices

ARDA is currently collecting an email waitlist. You can request access to or deletion of your waitlist information by emailing contact@ardaapp.com. The in-app controls described below are launch requirements and will not be represented as available until they are functional.
1. Contact ARDA about a privacy request
Email contact@ardaapp.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe the action you want ARDA to take and use the email address associated with your waitlist entry or account when possible.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority. Do not include Life Audit answers, financial details, health information, passwords, authentication codes, or other unnecessary sensitive information in an email request.
2. Waitlist and marketing email
You may ask us to confirm, correct, or delete the email address and submission context associated with your waitlist entry. You may also unsubscribe through the link in a marketing message. We may keep a limited suppression record so that we do not send messages you have declined.
3. Access and correction
At launch, ARDA’s in-app privacy controls are designed to let account holders inspect material profile facts, accepted evidence, rating history, and consent history. Correcting a fact creates a visible replacement and recalculates only affected results rather than silently rewriting prior history.
You may also submit an access or correction request by email. Depending on the scope and applicable law, ARDA may provide a response electronically after verification.
4. Stop future AI processing
At launch, the intended path is Settings → Privacy & Data → AI processing. Turning AI processing off will prevent new AI interpretation, AI-authored replies, rating explanations, and Weekly Audit synthesis. It will not delete information already stored by ARDA; deletion is a separate choice.
Withdrawal cannot recall a request that was already sent to an AI provider. You may review the current disclosure and turn AI processing on again later without a rating penalty, streak penalty, or conversion pressure.
5. Export your information
At launch, the intended path is Settings → Privacy & Data → Export my data. The planned export includes portable JSON, CSV, and Markdown files in a private ZIP archive. The server copy of the export is designed to expire after 24 hours. A copy saved to your device or Files provider remains under your control.
6. Delete a conversation, evidence, or a domain
ARDA separates conversation deletion from accepted evidence. Before deleting a conversation, the app is designed to show whether evidence that originated there has affected a rating or audit and let you choose whether to retain or separately review that evidence.
Evidence and domain deletion are designed to preview affected results before confirmation. Shared evidence is not silently removed from unrelated domains, and affected ratings are recalculated after deletion.
7. Delete your account
At launch, the intended path is Settings → Account → Delete account. Apple requires apps that support account creation to let users initiate deletion within the app. ARDA’s release design requires recent reauthentication, a readable preview, and an explicit final confirmation.
Once accepted, the request is designed to block new account changes and begin deletion of active profile, audit, conversation, evidence, rating, plan, export, consent, linked telemetry, and authentication records. ARDA-controlled active data and Supabase backup copies are designed to be removed or expire within seven days. Under standard OpenAI API controls, limited abuse-monitoring logs may remain with OpenAI for up to 30 days unless verified Zero Data Retention applies.
Deleting an ARDA account may not cancel an Apple subscription. If subscriptions are offered, the deletion flow will provide a path to manage or cancel the Apple subscription and will not imply that billing has stopped when it has not.
8. Website analytics and browser choices
The public website uses analytics, conversion measurement, and diagnostics to understand visits and improve reliability. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and cookie settings can limit these tools. Private Life Audit answers and ARDA conversations are not sent to the public website’s Google or Microsoft Clarity analytics tools.
9. Consumer health data requests
Additional rights may apply to information about physical or mental health, fitness, substance use, or other consumer health data. See the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for the relevant categories, purposes, recipients, rights, and appeal process.
10. Authorized agents and appeals
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to act for you, ARDA may request proof of authorization and may still need to verify your identity directly. If we deny a request in whole or in part, you may reply with the subject “Privacy appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
