Getting started

What is ARDA?

ARDA is an iPhone app that gives you a clear-eyed outside view of the major areas of your life. It helps you see where you stand, understand what deserves attention, and turn your goals into a realistic plan for the next seven days.

When does ARDA launch?

We are targeting September 2026 for the iPhone App Store launch. Join the early-access list to receive the release link.

Which devices and countries will be supported?

The initial release is designed for iPhone, in English, and primarily for adults in the United States. Final iOS compatibility will be listed on the App Store product page.

Do I need an account?

You will be able to begin the Life Audit before creating a permanent account. Creating an account is required to save the confirmed audit and use ARDA as an ongoing record. An abandoned anonymous audit is designed to expire after seven days, and you can discard it sooner.

Life Audit and ratings

What is a Life Audit?

The Life Audit is the guided assessment that creates your baseline Life Profile. It covers up to eleven domains, goes deeper in your three selected priorities, lets you review the facts ARDA intends to use, and then reveals explainable ratings and a seven-day plan.

Do I have to answer every question?

No. ARDA should collect only information that can materially improve the picture. Sensitive questions include a way to decline. Missing information can reduce confidence or make a domain unassessable, but it should not be silently treated as negative evidence.

Are ratings judgments about me?

No. Ratings describe current evidence within a particular domain. They do not measure your worth, morality, intelligence, future, or potential.

Can I correct a rating?

Yes. The launch design lets you review the evidence and explanation, correct a fact, add missing information, or question the method. A rating changes when corrected or new accepted evidence justifies the change, not merely because ARDA wants to defend itself or please you.

How often do I need to update ARDA?

You can report meaningful changes conversationally whenever they happen. A Weekly Audit provides the deeper cross-domain review. There is no streak punishment for missing a day.

Privacy and data

What personal information does ARDA process?

ARDA may process the Life Audit answers, goals, conversations, accepted evidence, ratings, plans, account details, and operational information needed to provide the service. Some information may concern health, finances, relationships, substance use, or other sensitive circumstances. The Privacy Policy contains the complete description.

What information is sent to OpenAI?

For a feature that needs AI, ARDA is designed to send only the context relevant to that specific task. It does not send your email address, authentication secret, or full account by default. Eligible API requests use store: false, and ARDA does not opt app content into model training. Limited abuse-monitoring logs may remain with OpenAI for up to 30 days under standard provider controls.

Can I stop future AI processing?

At launch, the intended control is Settings, Privacy & Data, AI processing. Turning it off stops new AI interpretation and AI-authored output without deleting existing ARDA records. The public Privacy Choices page explains this control in more detail.

Can I export or delete selected information?

At launch, ARDA is designed to provide an export and separate controls for conversations, accepted evidence, domains, and the full account. Deleting a conversation does not silently delete accepted evidence that affected ratings. These controls remain release requirements and will not be represented as available until they are functional.

How will I delete my account?

At launch, account deletion is designed to begin inside the app through Settings, Account, Delete account. It requires reauthentication and an explicit confirmation. Email support can help with privacy questions, but it will not replace Apple’s required in-app deletion path.

Subscriptions and billing

How much will ARDA cost?

Pricing and any trial terms have not been announced. If ARDA offers a subscription, the App Store purchase screen will show the full renewal price, billing period, included features, and trial terms before you subscribe.

How will I cancel a subscription?

An Apple-billed subscription is managed through your Apple account subscriptions. Deleting the app or your ARDA account may not automatically cancel Apple billing. If subscriptions are offered, ARDA will provide a direct path to Apple’s subscription-management screen.

Will ARDA support Restore Purchases?

Yes, if subscriptions are offered. The launch purchase experience must include a way for an existing subscriber to restore purchases or sign in to the account associated with the entitlement.

How are App Store refunds handled?

Apple generally handles refunds for purchases it bills. If subscriptions are offered, ARDA support will point you to the applicable Apple process and help investigate an ARDA account or entitlement problem.

Troubleshooting

What should I include in a technical support email?

Include the app version, iOS version, iPhone model, a short description of what you expected, and what happened instead. Do not email passwords, authentication codes, full financial details, health records, or unnecessary Life Audit content.

What if I cannot sign in?

Confirm that you are using the same Sign in with Apple identity or email address connected to the account. If an email code does not arrive, check filtered folders and wait before requesting another code. Contact support if the problem continues.

What if a rating or plan looks wrong?

Use the in-app evidence and correction controls when available. A technical bug, an incorrect stored fact, and a disagreement with ARDA’s method are handled differently, so include which one you believe occurred when contacting support.

Safety and limitations

Is ARDA therapy or professional advice?

No. ARDA helps you understand, plan, and reflect, but it is not a therapist, doctor, crisis line, financial adviser, lawyer, fiduciary, or unquestionable authority. It is designed around a repeatable whole-life process rather than licensed professional services.

Can I use ARDA in an emergency?

No. Do not wait for ARDA or rely on it for an emergency. In the United States, call 911 for immediate danger. If you are experiencing a mental-health or suicide crisis, call or text 988. Outside the United States, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.

Does safety-related information lower my rating?

No. A safety signal is not automatically negative rating evidence and is not used for subscription pressure. ARDA’s intended safety flow displays reviewed resources separately from ordinary ratings and planning.
